This handcrafted pitcher, originating from the esteemed glassblowing workshops of Jalisco, Western Mexico, epitomizes the fusion of skill, community support, and environmental consciousness. Our collaboration is with a workshop overseen by Doña Josefina, a renowned figure committed to the social integration of marginalized individuals. Under her guidance, the workshop not only facilitates reentry into the workforce through permanent employment opportunities but also nurtures budding talent by providing apprenticeships in the revered art of glassblowing.

The material at the heart of our creations is 100% recycled glass, highlighting our dedication to environmental sustainability. The use of recycled glass significantly reduces energy consumption compared to new glass production, melting at a lower temperature and thereby conserving valuable resources like quartz sand, soda, and limestone. Additionally, glass recycling circumvents the extraction of these raw materials, contributing to a reduction in environmental impact.
